What are widgets?

You can think of them as plug in gadgets that perform very specific functions. The show up in a lot of places. If you have an iGoogle account, you can pull in clock, calendar, weather, and other widgets to personalize your page and bring you the information of importance to you. If you use Windows Vista, the sidebar can be loaded up with widgets.

 

Why care about widgets?

At Green Moon, we look out for widgets that may be helpful to non-profit organizations and small businesses. When we come across something of interest, we may blog about. Will will also post it here.

We think the following widgets might be of interest. The first is one from Network for Good.
